TODAYS WORD: ROCK = SCRIBES@THE ROCK

SCRIPTURE FOCUS: "The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Savior. My GOD is my Rock, in whom I find protection. The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! My GOD, the Rock of my Salvation, be exalted!" 2 Samuel: 2-3, 47

PRAYER FOCUS: Lord help us to stand on our faith and trust in you. Let us have and walk in dominion as you mandated for us on the sixth day of creation. Dominion Living is standing firm amid trials, tribulations, and adversities. Knowing that if God moved a rock or a mountain in the past He can surely do it again. Your faith keeps you anchored on all of His promises and it will always give you hope and confidence! Help me God to testify!

SCRIBES documented stories from the beginning of time. This is how we have the bible or the inspired word of God. Your story is essential. Don’t let anyone else interpret if for you. You too can tell your OWN story!

According to Google's online dictionary, the word Rock originates from a medieval latin word "rocca". It is a geological solid mineral material forming from part of the surface of the earth. It can project above the earth's surface or out of the sea. It is a noun or per Wikipedia it is often quoted or found in the famous saying "solid as theRock of Gibraltar" used to describe an entity that is very safe of firm.

A ROCK is also described as a gentle movement to and from or from side to side. It is used in similes and metaphors or synonyms that refer to someone or something that is extremely strong, reliable or hard. Some synonyms include, a foundation, cornerstone, support, a prop, mainstay, boulder, stone, pebble, diamond, jewel and a precious stone. 

If GOD has given you the gift of spreading HIS word with the Power of the Written Word, then your gift is a ROCK that HE can use to anchor and draw many to HIM. A Stone the one that the builder's rejected that is us. Scribes were not popular in biblical times. 

GOD'S ROCK DEFINITION: GOD refers to his son using the analogy of a stone. A stone has different angles to be viewed. Jesus is referred to "The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone." Psalm 118:22. HE also reminds us that all of our fathers in the old testament, from Abraham to Moses "All ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them and that Rock was Christ. 

SCRIBES AT THE ROCK: I wanted to be a Writer or a Scribe for GOD, one who although only originally a small pebble, one of many chosen stones, but still a solid rock with Jesus as my cornerstone. My favorite color is "Purple" for it is one that is regal or royal and the google photo above describes my stand...Look at that tiny purple pebble or rock that stands and balances it's life on the original ROCK....Jesus Christ...the original cornerstone. 

Our Mission is to Glorify GOD with The Power of The Written Word to Save, Equip, Inspire and Change lives. If you are looking for a safe, resourceful, kindred place to share the "Ink in your Blood", you have come to the "Write" venue. Introducing "Scribes At The Rock". This Virtual Ministry is not new to GOD'S Plan from the Old Testament Scribes or Writers to the New Testament ones. Inspired by writers for writers to build, share and grow in their craft of the Inspired Written Word. Although it was founded with a Christ centered foundation, all writers are welcome. 

"And they Overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their Testimony."  Revelation 12:11

So my fellow Scribes, lets help each other see and take Note of what GOD wants us to share with the world. After all we have seen and read HIStory that was written by all those inspired who had a passion to share and transcribe GOD'S miracles of the bible in the old and new testaments. 

Our Ministry seeks to teach, mentor, share ideas, support and pray for fellow scribes encouraging them to keep writing and documenting truth with and from the perspective of GOD'S spirit in every thing witnessed, heard and documented. With Jesus Christ as our anchor, we can always be held up or sustained by HIM in the midst of any and every storm to find and finish that high call and purpose given for and by HIM.  GOD IS the Rock of our salvation. 

When a WORD is spoken through GOD by one who has the anointed gift of teaching, exhortation, deliverance and prophecy and it is shared with pure passion it stops me in my path, no matter what I am doing. I have to write it down for it will be forgotten as quick as it was heard.  It's a gift that I can hear it, process it as an actual truth from GOD and can quickly write it down. For if I don't it is lost forever, with an overloaded and a now very delicate memory assigned to try to hold on to it. 

For it will fall on the "stony ground" and can't bear intended fruit. So it write and I write. Needless to say over the years I have numerous journals with words behind the two covers. Now I am ready to dig out these seeds and plant them in the Scribes Book of Good Soil. I can't wait to see what a harvest GOD has planned!

"Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased...."   Mark 4: 1-9

So what is a "Scribe"?As per the article excerpt below, we too have a Sacred Duty as writers inspired by the very Spirit of GOD, to record the testimonies, witnessed miracles and the words spoken through those who are also today inspired by the Spirit of GOD. 

For example many have taken note of the many spoken words in the pulpit of our AnointedPastor Miles McPherson at The Rock Church, San Diego. I personally sought to worship there now for over 3 years after hearing one episode of his weekly messages on a local radio station. Now a member of the Rock Church, I am following his lead. He inspires us all to tell Our Own Stories to Save, Equip and Send others into the mission field as disciples for Christ.

"Scribes held one of the most important and Sacred of duties. So now that I have the message loud and clear from GOD, I now consider myself a 21st century Scribe. What A Divinely Chosen Assignment! This means Our letters left with the world can and will go down on Papyrus long after were gone. The enemy fights us over this gift. He causes many of us to be isolated, stifled and stuck, unable to write. It is just a trick to keep the work of the Lord behind closed doors, shared with only a few, hidden away in hundreds of unshared journal books. When we write it down.....it is there forever for all to read over and over....forever.

This virtual writing venue is in the form of a Blog, Virtual Prayer-Book Club, with lots of room to share, archive and obtain constructive book coaching, constructive critiques, as well as to get tips on desktop/self publishing skills. Writers who love to write, need a safe place to share with fellow writers who share the same passion, beyond beyond their own compassion to write just to write.

As Photo/Video Journalists capture moments, freezing them in time, we writers need a place where your pearl can be shared, as a precious word, that will be left here when we are gone. Something that can one day, if desired to be listed as one of the best published or even if unpublished, A Historically Beautifully written "Word of Art". We are Artists, whose paint is used in the Color we use to ink our written words. We can tell stories that remain "Carved in Granite"left to Inspire until the end of time.

In the Spirit Writer's Ministry, "Scribes At The Rock" welcomes writers that just want to read, write, be read, and hopefully be honored with a published "Word of Art". Our Kindred spirits will Unite to Encourage, Inspire, Edify, Teach, Pray together to promote a BOOK PRAYER TREE for each other., to chart our growth. I can already see many many books on that tree, even yours and mine. Many of us yearn to share our stories, with our desires and needs to connect with others of the same Passion on a personal level. Lets's All Do just that together.
